The Sugar Maple earrings offer a delicate interpretation of the changing foliage that makes this tree so admired in autumn. As temperatures fall, maple leaves move through a spectrum of green, gold and copper, creating a landscape that seems to change almost daily. Their annual return has given maple foliage associations with renewal, resilience and the continuity of the seasons.
Smaller textured maple leaves descend from fine brown oxidized bronze stems in a softly tiered arrangement. Green hand patination, copper leaf and 24k gold plating create subtle differences in color across the pair while retaining the natural surface of each leaf. The reduced scale gives these Sugar Maple earrings a light and refined appearance, with enough movement and autumn color to add botanical detail while remaining effortless for everyday wear.
Materials: The Sugar Maple earrings are cast in hand patinated bronze with a brown and green hand patinated finish, accented with a 24kt gold plating and copper leaf. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.
