Once a pear is harvested from its branch, it can ripen to its full potential to be deliciously enjoyed. This beloved fruit is actually part of the rose family, and is very versatile as it's used in many popular recipes and desserts. Unlike some other fruits, the pear usually keeps its same golden hue during ripening, though it may change ever so slightly. It was considered a sacred fruit in Greek mythology and is even a symbol of immortality in China. 

Materials: The golden pear earrings are cast in  hand patinated bronze and accented with 24kt gold powder coated cast glass pears. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.
